BELIEFS

Mission
The mission of the Church of Minneapolis is to establish God's Kingdom on the earth, through preaching and teaching the Word of God with simplicity, clarity and understanding.

We believe the whole Bible is God’s truth and final authority for all situations and circumstances.
We believe that we walk by faith and not by sight.
We believe God is triune. There is God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost. All three are equal and eternal. We believe that Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh.
We believe that our only hope of salvation is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Salvation is a result of you believing in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord. We believe that the evidence of salvation in a believer is living a holy life and loving your neighbor as yourself. Furthermore, salvation is by faith alone, a gift given by the grace of God; however, our works are evidence of our faith, for faith without works is dead.
We believe that Baptism by water is symbolic, to the world, of rebirth, that a believer has died with Christ and has been born again as a new creature.
We believe that all believers have a right to and should diligently seek the promise of the Father, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit provides the believer with the power to live a holy and love filled life for service, as well as the access to the gifts and their use in ministry. The Baptism is separate from and comes after salvation.
We believe that the evidence of being Baptized in the Holy Spirit is the initial supernatural sign of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and then by the manifestation of the Holy Spirit in public testimony and for service through prophecy, interpretation of tongues, the message of wisdom, the message of knowledge, faith, gifts of healing, miraculous powers, discernment of spirits and speaking in tongues.
We believe that the Church is the body of Christ and all believers are to learn the word of God and be functioning members of the body.
We believe that God has given us an inheritance while here on earth that is total prosperity: Spiritual, Mental, Physical, Financial, and Social.
We believe that Jesus is coming back again for the church. Those who have not confessed Jesus as Lord will suffer eternal separation from God.
